Tanuki Koji Shinran Tei

This restaurant is a typical Korean barbecue restaurant. They use the need which called White Elder Wagyu from Hokkaido. The overall experience is good. After the beef is roasted, it is tender, juicy and has a bursting feeling. Will visit next time.

This is the first time I have come to this restaurant and I have to say, this is the best beef I've ever eaten. On top of this the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. If there was a 10 star rating I would certainly give it.

Pretty darn decent yakinuku experience here in Sapporo! 1. Cuts of meats were distinctly different from each other (not just pure fatty), even their dry aged tongues were distinctly unique and easily distinguishable 2. The staff while do not fully speak English were able to understand and help recommend certain key dishes 3. Not the cheapest for sure, but for the quality of meat and for the environment, still think it's worth it's price :) For 4 pax, we spent around 20.4k Yen with around 150g of meat per pax. It was plenty filling, don't worry about not get your fill

A yakuniku restaurant that specializes in Shiraoi wagyu. I was able to secure a room without a reservation on a Tuesday night. The room was spacious, which is a rare find in Japan, and provided a comfortable dining experience. We ordered the 7 types of shiraoi wagyu rare cuts set, a premium short rib, one of the recommended cuts of the day, and a spicy beef soup rice set. All of the them were delicious. One thing to note is that the restaurant doesn't offer full service despite the high prices - you need to grill the meat yourself. We tried to ask the staff for recommendations on cooking times for some of the thicker cuts, but they didn't seem to understand our questions. Additionally, the price of the drinks was a bit steep - we opted for hot green tea at 490 yen plus tax per person, and it wasn't refillable. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall dining experience was very satisfying. If you're willing to pay a premium for high-quality wagyu beef, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We came to this place many times and never disappointed. This time we came with family of 6 and staff arranged private room for us. We ordered a lot os lunch set with more various dishes. The meat was tender and very tasty. We enjoyed this meal very much. The price was very reasonable and the service was very good indeed. Highly recommended.

This place is forever crowded. Seems very understaffed. We waited to get a reservation for the following week. Staff was very patient even though she’s swamped with many waiting guests at reception, doing cashier job and also serving customers their food! Multi-tasking to the max level!!! I would rate her service max! But the entire restaurant needs to have more staffs like her, else the waiting time to even have the chance to speak to a staff is super annoying. Kudos to Ms Murakami, job well done despite all the work she had to do, while maintaining her composure and patience.

A popular yakiniku place. We walked in and have to wait 30mins for a table. A bit disappointed as two dishes we wanted were sold out. However the friendly waitress was able to recommend alternatives which was quite good. The meat were all very tender. One point to note, do not ask for the English menu as it only featured about half of the dishes available in the Japanese menu.
